The Surface Mount L & XL raised-floor grommets are designed to fit in active raised-floors to seal larger cable openings without affecting operations. The Surface Mount L & XL units pull apart into two halves and are then positioned around the cables. Both L & XL have larger 'skirts' than the standard Surface Mount.

By sealing cable cutouts you can drastically improve the cooling capacity within the data centre.

Features

The Surface Mount L & XL are inherently self-sealing, using multi-layered, different sized filaments which interweave and overlap.
The fibres are cantilevered, so forcing them to close.
There are over 3,000 filaments per cross sectional inch.
The filaments safely dissipate any static build up off the cables that are pulled through.
All metal components within the gommets are anodized to resist corrosion.
Units are easily installed. Half of the unit is stuck to the floor tile using a double-sided adhesive seal which provides a strong bond and prevents the grommet from coming loose. The other half has a single-sided adhesive seal which prevents air escaping. This half can be removed to allow access to the cables.
The Surface Mount L is designed for 10" x 10" (254mm x 254mm) cutouts
The Surface Mouunt XL is designed for 10" x 13" (254mm x 330mm) cutouts
Usable Opening - 8" x 4" (203mm x 102mm)
