Uptime Devices Environmental Monitoring Sensors

Uptime Devices Environmental Monitoring Sensors

Uptime Devices provide a number of environmental monitoring sensors for their SensorHub 2 and SensorHub Pro product ranges. Uptime Devices' environmental sensors are equipped with better accuracy and easier management than their competitors. The Auto Sense capability allows any sensor to be used in any open port, rather than designated ports.

Uptime Devices' environmental sensors give you the capability to measure, monitor and prevent almost any environmental problem that may disrupt your network environment.

Temperature Sensor

The temperature sensor measures the temperature in the environment. They have a measurement range of -55°C to +125°C and have an accuracy of +/-0.5°C at temperatures between -10°C to +85°C. Measurements are in 0.5°C increments and they are available in cable lengths of 1ft, 15ft and 60ft (0.3m, 4.5m & 18m).

Humidity Sensor

Humidity sensors measure the relative humidity in the air with a range of 0 to 100%. The sensor is composed of a semiconductor whose capacitance varies with humidity and is accurate to within +/-3% at 20°C, elsewhere +/-5%. Measurements are taken at a rate of one reading per secondand they are available in cable lengths of 1ft, 15ft and 60ft (0.3m, 4.5m & 18m).

Temperature / Airflow Combo Sensor

This sensor allows you to both measure temperature and airflow in a single sensor. Like the temperature only sensor it has a measurement range of -55°C to +125°C and have an accuracy of +/-0.5°C at temperatures between -10°C to +85°C. In addition to the temperature the sensor also monitors airflow by detecting rapid change in temperature over a short period of time. In a raised floor environment they are best placed directly above the air grill, so that any failure can be immediately picked up. Available in cable lengths of 1ft, 15ft and 60ft (0.3m, 4.5m & 18m).

Temperature / Humidity Combo Sensor

This sensor combines the temperature and humidity sensors in one sensor and offers all the same features.

Water Sensor

The water sensor is an active switch that closes in the presence of water, distilled water and many other liquids not normally detected by standard water sensors. It has a measurement range, wet or dry, of -20°C to +60°C and takes a measurement reading every second. Available in cable lengths of 15ft and 60ft (4.5m & 18m).

Voltage Sensor

Voltage sensors monitor the current draw and the presence of voltage. They are compatible with either 115V or 230V and are accurate to within +/-2VAC. A measurement reading is taken every second.

Dry Contact Sensor

Dry contact sensors detect any open or closed state relay switch. When the switch changes state an alarm is reported.

Security Sensors

Security sensors come as a pair and are an active switch that closes when one half of the sensor comes into close proximity to its mate. When the two halves of the sensor are moved apart from each other they open. This type of sensor is typically used to show whether doors are opened or closed. They are available in cable lengths of 15ft, 60ft and 100ft (4.5m, 18m & 30m).

Smoke Sensor

The smoke sensor, designed by GE, has a high sensitivity to smoke and has features such as: Drift Compensation, Multi-Criteria Detection and Remote Maintenance / Trouble Reporting (CleanMe). The wireless smoke sensor continuously monitors sensitivity and operational status, and provides a visual indication if it drifts out of the sensitivity range or fails internal diagnostics. The sensor can also send a signal to allow the user to schedule a service call and avoid false alarms.
