Russ Bassett Slidetrac - High Density Media Storage

Slidetrac, Russ Bassett's high density media storage solution, is a base system that exclusively uses ProMedia Shelf cabinets. Convert stationary shelving to rolling shelving or add to any existing Slidetrac installation at your convenience. Slidetrac bases fit any combination of 5" (127mm), 6" (152mm), 7" (178mm) & 8" (203mm) shelving, either 2 or 3 rows deep. The first row is stationary and may be wall-mounted or mounted back-to-back to an adjacent Slidetrac system. The overhead tracks have a smooth-action and Teflon bearings and oversize wheels make moving shelves a breeze. Slidetrac is easy to install. Each base unit is fitted with six individual, easily accessible from the top, leveling glides that allow easy leveling even on highly irregular floors.

Slidetrac Features

• Rolling media cases are 81" (2057mm) or 90" (2286mm) high
• Adjustable shelves, Media Racs, bookends & backstops provide maximum flexibility for media specific or mixed media collections
• Cases are offered in 5" (127mm), 6" (152mm), 7" (178mm) & 8" (203mm) Depths; multiple case sizes may be mixed on a shared base system
• All cases include shelves that are adjustable in ½" (13mm) increments
• For 3480-type tapes, DLT, LTO and 4mm & 8mm tapes, shelves include Media Racs (one tape per slot) for media specific collections
• Adjustable backstops position all media at the front edge of the shelf for quicker visual & physical access
• Stop-Lock shelf connectors enable shelves to be height-adjusted (without tools or additional hardware) for maximum flexibility
• Slidetrac bases are available in 15" (381mm), 20" (508mm) and 25" (635mm) Depths to accommodate any combination of case depths and create systems that are 2 or 3 rows deep
