Dedicated to the Sun platform, the Series II SharkRack is the only LAN enclosure system endorsed by Sun Microsystems for rackmount storage of its servers, and is exclusively stocked in Europe by EDP Europe.
The Series II SharkRack has been designed to retain the look of Sun's exterior design for showcase data centre installations. It is a solid unit, constructed from heavy gauge steel, and is the only racking solution tested and certified by Sun's laboratories. It even withstands Sun's 17G shock test. While other manufacturers attempt to cool an entire cabinet with roof mounted fans, SharkRack is the only company on the market to offer component-specific cooling modules.

Unique cooling modules compensate for the complex top-to–bottom airflow of the Sun Enterprise 3500 or side-to-side airflow of the Enterprise 4500 or StorEdge Network Array A5000 / 112 /114, creating safe intake and exhaust airflow for these previously non-rackmountable systems. And because SharkRack is the only racking solution internationally recognised by Sun Microsystems it does not invalidate the SunService warranty.
Designed with the system administrator in mind, components such as CD-Roms, tape drives, system boards and internal disk drives are all 100% accessible in either extended or retracted positions. Each module of the SharkRack Range is specifically designed to fit a particular Sun Product. SharkRack also offers backwardly compatible rack mount kits for most older Ultra and Enterprise Servers.

SharkRack's TigerShark 2 cabinet has been designed for all OEM lines. The T2 cabinet range offers you choice, flexibility, availability and high-end quality. T2 will allow rack mounting of all OEM equipment such as Sun, Compaq, HP, IBM, Dell, Fujitsu and Cisco, along with all communication and other equipment that conforms to 19" EIA Rack Mount standards. The T2 cabinet is 42U high and is available in two depths, 42" and 47", it is packed with a host of features which includes:
