EnaSys AssetTrak Asset Management Software

Misplaced, or worse, stolen assets cost businesses not only in monetary terms but also in time looking for them. EnaSys AssetTrak is a Windows client-server based asset management software system that utilises RFID portals and control points to capture and report on asset movements within a facility. With its modular approach to RFID software solutions, EnaSys has created its AssetTrak asset management software system to help institutions track and monitor the movement of high tech assets, e.g. IT equipment or media tapes, within a facility as well as tracking and managing the asset’s movement between sites.

EnaSys AssetTrak allows the operator to:

Enter asset information.
Monitor portals using RFID.
Design asset business rules and responses to those rules.
Generate reports on asset movement.

RFID (Radio-frequency identification) technology enables assets to be more effectively managed. RFID tags attached to the asset, or embedded into media labels stuck to media tapes, enables RFID readers to read the tag as it passes the reader. And, unlike barcodes there is no need for the tag to be visible to the reader. AssetTrak asset management software embraces RFID and provides a centralised database where captured data can be monitored and reported on.

Asset protection from unauthorised removal – Insures assets that are restricted to a particular building, room, or area are protected from removal from their assigned location.
Secure Notification – AssetTrak allows the creation of business rules to generate alerts when protected assets are subjected to unauthorised movements.
Movement Identification – The AssetTrak asset tracking system is able to generate reports on the movement of all assets within a facility, utilising electronically controlled “move lists” and monitoring the movement of assets through RFID controlled points.
Chain of Custody – AssetTrak records the chain of custody and movement of each individual asset.

Database Editing – Provides management of the database enabling configuration of assets, tags, users, alerts etc.
Monitoring – Allows the user to monitor/view the state of the asset tracking system.
Reporting – Enables the generation of reports for printing, exporting, etc.
Inventory – Accurate inventory is a modular feature of the AssetTrak asset management system. An RFID inventory audit can be conducted in batch or WI-FI mode.
