EziBlank Universal 23” Blanking Panels have been designed to fit any 23” rack cabinet no matter what type of mounting rails are being used. Similar to EziBlank’s 19” blanking panels, the universal 23” blanking panels are 6RU in size and scored at individual 1RU intervals, enabling the required number of blanking panels to be snapped off.

The use of blanking panels within IT cabinets plays an important role in an airflow management strategy. By blanking out unused rack space in an IT cabinet it prevents hot exhaust air from IT equipment from circulating back to the front of the rack where it can mix with cool air used to cool the installed equipment.

EziBlank universal 23” blanking panels have a tool-free mounting design that enable ease-of-use and rapid deployment. The panels are manufactured from high-quality, flame-retardant (UL94 V0) ABS plastic with thermoplastic elastomer rubber twist latches. The panels have moulded positioning studs to assist with correct alignment of the panel which is then secured into place by turning the twist latches.

The ABS plastic is lightweight, recyclable and environmentally friendly, yet provides durability and allows panels to be removed and reinstalled. Its scratch resistance textured surface also offers an aesthetic appearance.

The modular and flexible design of EziBlank blanking panels make them an ideal server rack accessory for data centre and IT room operators where separated panels can be installed and reused onto different RU heights of unused rack space.
