By using Bluetooth wirelessly communication the Fujikura 41S Active V-groove splicer connects to the CT50 fibre cleaver to enable a range of pioneering features that will improve the overall installation time, cost and efficiency for operators.

The smart Fujikura 41S is a compact and robust unit perfect for FTTX applications. The 5″ colour touch-panel display, improved v-groove illumination and easy splice protector positioning makes the splicing process more convenient for installers. The splicing machine also reassures operators of reliable splice results using CORE loss estimation using Warm Image Splicing Technology.

Using low radio power Bluetooth technology, so not to interfere with other nearby equipment, the Fujikura 41S detects high cleave angles or bad end shapes and sends blade position change instructions to the CT50 cleaver which will then automatically rotate the blade to the next position, eliminating poor fibre cleaving due to worn or incorrectly positioned cleaver blades, and restoring optimum cleaving performance.

The compact size of the Fujikura 41S active v-groove fusion splicer enables splicing on the go with the carry case also being able to be utilised as a workstation. The 41S can also be used in a sling around the neck. These easy-to-handle qualities enable this splicer to perform high-quality splices quickly and easily. Operators have the choice of operating the unit via the 5″ colour touch-panel or alternatively via the traditional easy-to-use hard button navigation buttons.

The 41S retains the class-leading features of the other splicers within the Fujikura splicer range including: quick splice and heat times, fully ruggedised features and user customisable settings.
