The configurable automated features of the Fujikura 70R+ ribbon fusion splicer enables the machine to be customised to best suit your fibre splicing technique.

The programmable automatic wind protector closes and starts the splicing process after securely clamping the fibres in position. Once the splice is completed the wind protector automatically opens and enables the fibres to be quickly and easily removed. Similarly, the clamshell design of the tube heater clamps the splice protection sleeve and applies heat from both sides. The improved design of both the wind protector and tube heater help deliver splicing in 11 seconds and tube heating in 18 seconds.

The Fujikura 70R Plus ribbon fusion splicer has a rugged construction which improves reliability by resisting shock, rain and dust, allowing it to withstand a 76cm (30 inch) drop test. The unit also features a high-resolution LCD monitor, powerful Li-ion battery for longer operation time and built in videos for on-the-go training. The Fujikura 70R+ also benefits from wireless Bluetooth® communication that enables heat data to be communicated to Smartphones or other Fujikura Bluetooth® equipment such as the Fujikura RS02/RS03 ribbon fibre strippers.
