Product Description

Fibre Optic Patch Cords From Huber+Suhner

Huber+Suhner fibre optic patch cords are manufactured with the highest quality materials and to the strictest of manufacturing processes.  The aim to produce fibre optic patch cords that add value to client’s requirements by reducing the cable size, enhancing performance or improving the overall useability.

In high density applications, clients have a choice of innovative LC connectors that reduce cable bulk and speed up the patching and re-patching process.  The unique push-pull LC design was the first major step in revolutionising the standard fibre LC connector. The range of fibre optic patch cords now includes the Huber+Suhner LC-XD Uniboot that features a single jacketed duplex fibre cable and extended lever for even better cable bulk reduction and easier handling.

Huber+Suhner LC-XD Uniboot CableThe Huber+Suhner LC-XD Uniboot fibre patch cord features a single jacketed cable that contains both the Tx and Rx fibres. The design of the LC-XD Uniboot greatly reduces the space taken up by the cable when compared to the more traditional ‘figure of 8’ duplex cables. The resulting saving in space reduces cable congestion, improves cable management and traceability and with less cable congestion airflow management is also improved. The connector has an extended, rigid lever with an innovative push-pull mechanism that makes handling cables during installation and removal easier even in high density applications.
Huber+Suhner LC HQ ConnectorThe LC-HQ fibre optic connector allows LC adaptors to be placed side by side with minimal impact on insertion or removal.  Due to its push-pull functionality, the connector can be removed from the adaptor simply by pulling or pushing the shroud.  This is possible because with the LC-HQ it is no longer necessary to access the small keys on the upper front face of the connector.
Huber+Suhner LC HD ConnectorThe LC-HD fibre connector uses the same shroud as the LC-HQ but with the addition of an extension pin that extends outwards at the rear.  This extension pin makes access easier particularly in high density fibre environments.  LC adaptors can be 360° stacked and accessibility is still better and faster than other LC fibre solutions on the market.
Huber+Suhner LC Classic ConnectorThe LC-Classic is based on the industry standard simplex or duplex LC fibre connector.  This has a clip on the top face of the shroud for engaging the connector key mechanism.  Unlike the LC-HQ & LC-HD connectors the LC-Classic requires full finger access to the clip and subsequently is not optimised for high density fibre environments.
Huber+Suhner SC ConnectorThe Huber+Suhner SC fibre connector is available as a simplex connector or as a duplex pair (using a retrofittable duplex clip).  Duplex clips can be pre-fitted to assemblies or not fitted at all.  Many of the LiSA fibre management products do not use an SC duplex adaptor footprint, so the clip becomes unnecessary.
