RackSEAL is a range of air barriers designed to help enable improvements to data centre cooling efficiency.

The original RackSEAL is a rack air barrier designed to seal the gaps between cabinet sides and mounting rails. It also seals gaps between adjoining racks or between rack bases and the floor when the racks are on castors. A compressed foam tape that is quick and easy to install, thanks to an adhesive acrylic scrim. It is available in two compressed widths. RackSEAL Floor provides a quick, easy and cost effective solution for sealing a variety of openings in data centre raised floors, and other areas as well.

Sealing these openings follows the guidelines in the 4R’s of airflow management, that by managing airflow at raised floor, rack, row and room levels, will enable optimisation of cooling systems.
