Behind The Wall Fibre Cables
Fibre pigtails are short fibre optic cables, that are spliced to provide the fibre connection between equipment and the main fibre optic cable. They have a connector at one end and exposed fibre cable at the other end. This end is then stripped and spliced to the connecting fibre cable. Often used in fibre trays that are housed in ODF racks, where they are referred to as “Behind The Wall” applications.
