Water / In-Row Cooling is an effective way to cool high density server installations.
EDP Distribution supplies water cooled rack solutions from ColdLogik. In high density server applications water cooling provides a more effective cooling solution than traditional air cooling. This is because air is a gas and as such has a poor heat conductivity. Whereas water has between 50 and 1,000 times the capacity to remove heat.
ColdLogik offer a range of Rear Door Coolers (RDC) capable of cooling heat loads from 29kW (ColdLogik CL21) to up to 200kW (ColdLogik CL23). Furthermore, the ColdLogik CL80 In-Row Cooler is available in two sizes and supplies cooling to Cold Aisle Containment systems in slab environments.
