HUBER+SUHNER IANOS® High Capacity Fibre Optic Management System
HUBER+SUHNER, a leading manufacturer of components and systems for optical and electrical connectivity, recently launched their latest high capacity fibre optic management system – IANOS®.
IANOS® is a new, class-leading and future-proofed fibre optic management system that facilitates Base-2, 8, 12 and 24 pre-terminated cable systems for best in class density, speed of installation, handling and scalability, all major factors in future proofing a data centre’s cabling infrastructure. IANOS® is a unique fibre management system that is designed to accommodate a quick, simple and inevitable upgrade path from 10G serial to 40G and 100G parallel optics.
IANOS® is a compact solution that occupies as little space as possible with passive equipment within a rack, allowing more space to be used for revenue generating equipment. IANOS® offers the highest packing density without compromising handling and its highly scalable nature allows customers to ‘pay as they grow’, by adding modular components as and when they are required. With modules available for different applications, sizes and connectivity types it’s possible to mix and match, and thanks to clever colour coding of components and use of universal adaptors the likelihood of human error is greatly reduced.
