IANOS from HUBER+SUHNER is a state-of-the-art fibre optic management system that facilitates fast, flexible and future-proofed fibre connectivity within Data Centre and Enterprise IT environments. HUBER+SUHNER IANOS fibre optic management system enables mixed data and applications to co-exist in the same high density chassis. It facilitates Base-2, 8, 12 and 24 pre-terminated cable systems for best in class density, speed of installation and scalability. Data rates from 1G to 120G can be seamlessly combined to provide the most flexible and future-proofed fibre management system on the market.
IANOS is flexible enough to accommodate changes as Data Centres evolve by offering the widest range of connectivity scenarios in a single generic platform. The IANOS system comprises of two chassis sizes 1U and 4U that can accommodate 72 LC or MTP ports in a single 1U rack space or 288 ports in a 4U space. Different modules, which can be mixed and matched in the same chassis, enables IANOS to accommodate 10G link design using LC connectivity or 40G and 100G links using MTP backbones. Operators that build a 10G infrastructure today can easily migrate to higher data rates in the future by simply swapping out modules within the chassis. Optipack trunk cables are high density multi-stranded cables that form the backbone of the data centre. Available in fibre counts up to 144 fibres, Optipack trunks reduce installation time, and are optimised for performance and handling, providing better space utilisation within cable routing space.

IANOS® Components
IANOS® Chassis
The IANOS® Chassis is available in 1U and 4U sizes and are designed for high density applications. A IANOS® 4U chassis can support up to 576 fibres (288 ports) while a 1U unit supports up to 144 fibres (72 ports).
IANOS® Modules
IANOS® modules are interchangeable connectivity blocks that are installed into the IANOS chassis and provide a flexible fibre optic management system. Modules are available to support Base-2, 8, 12 and 24 pre-terminated cable systems in either single or twin modules.
