The HUBER+SUHNER Optipack LC Duplex – LC Duplex fibre harness is used for links in and between server cabinets within the Data Centre or IT Room. Generally, backbone trunk cables will be connected to the rear-side of patching modules and LC cables used to connect to equipment such as servers or switches.

LC Duplex to LC Duplex fibre harness for OS2 & OM4 networks
Optipack LC Duplex to LC Duplex fibre harness, from HUBER+SUHNER, is designed to connect IT equipment such as servers or switches to patching modules that are fed by the network’s backbone trunk cables.
Available for OS2 or OM4 networks these cables are generally deployed with Singlmode OS2 fibre as this is the only fibre that offers a future-proofed infrastructure for higher data rates. Multimode LC trunk harnesses are not recommended because the LC Multimode connectors do not offer an upgrade to 40G or 100G networks over parallel optics.
Optipack LC-Duplex – LC-Duplex fibre harnesses are made-to-measure offering users an extremely well managed solution in terms of cable guidance, optical performance and handling. Using small diameter cable makes for easier cable management and minimises port blocking by the cable. They use the LC-XD push-pull connectors which makes handling easier and improves the insertion and removal time even in high-density switch blades. With the extraction finger on the LC-XD connector not only is access improved but port identification is enhanced via numbered clips directly behind each duplex connector boot.
HUBER+SUHNER’s LC-Duplex – LC-Duplex fibre optic harness also offers various fan-out options designed to match equipment and cable management requirements. The fibre cable is also bend-optimised to further assist cable management and is CPR compliant to Dca grade.
