Range of push-type fibre cleaners to improve fibre network performance
AFL One-Click cleaners is a range of push-type cleaners that have an easy one push action that quickly and effectively cleans the end-face of connectors on jumpers, or through adapters, and remove oil, dust or dirt particles. These can damage connectors or have a negative impact on fibre optic network performance.
AFL One-Click cleaners provide a low cost pre clean option which enable a fast and easy way to clean your fibre connectors and maximise the performance of your fibre optic network. Simply insert the One-Click cleaner into an adapter and push until an audible ‘click’ is heard. The mechanical action of this push-type cleaner advances an optical grade cleaning tape housed within the cleaning tip that is rotated to ensure the fibre end-face is gently and effectively cleaned.
Their compact size enables them to fit into the shirt pocket of a field technician and whilst providing effective cleaning of fibre end-faces they also reduce the risk of personal injury as there is no twisting of the wrist required to clean the end-face.
One-Click push-type cleaners are available for a variety of single and multi-fibre connectors including SC, FC, ST, LC, MU, Duplex LC and MPO.
One-Click Cleaner Range
- Original One-Click Cleaner – The original push-type cleaner that is available for a variety of connectors including SC, ST, FC and MU/LC. Each providing approximately 500 cleans.
- Rugged ODC Version – Designed to clean the 1.25mm ferrules in Outdoor Connector (ODC) plugs and sockets making them an essential cleaning tool for WiMax Base Station, Fibre-to-the-Antenna, Broadcasting and Surveillance Video technicians.
- Compact One-Click Cleaner Mini – Using the same technology as the Original series, but in a smaller more compact size enabling the cleaning of connectors in tighter places. Available in two capacities of 100 or 500 cleans.
- One-Click MT-RJ – Designed to clean both fibres of male (pinned) and female (unpinned) Mechanical Transfer Registered Jack connectors with PC or UPC ferrules.
- One-Click Ultra Cleaner 2.5 – With an enlarged cleaning area designed to clean more of the connector’s end-face the Ultra Cleaner 2.5 provides end-face cleaning up to a 2mm diameter and is a superior cleaner for SC, ST and FC connectors.
- One-Click D-LC Cleaner – Enables quicker cleaning of Duplex LC connections by cleaning both LC connectors of a duplex connection at the same time.
- One-Click MPO Cleaner – A revolutionary push-type cleaner that simplifies the cleaning of the ferrule end-face of both MPO/MTP® exposed connectors and connectors in adapters.
- One-Click MPO-16 Cleaner – Intended for cleaning both pinned (male) and socketed (female) 16-fibre MPO/MTP® connectors used in 400G trunk cabling.
- NEOCLEAN-E – Uses a push action to clean contamination from end-face of connectors or in adapters. Utilises a replaceable cleaning cartridge that can perform 750 cleans, reducing cleaning costs.
- NEOCLEAN-M – Designed for cleaning MPO and MTP multi-fibre connectors. One-push operation simplifies the cleaning of the ferrule end-face of both connectors and connectors in adapters.
