Managing incoming fibre optic cables

The HUBER+SUHNER CDR Breakout Plate fits within the 19 inch frame of the HUBER+SUHNER CDR and manages the incoming fibres.

The plate can be fitted to the top or bottom positions within the rack depending on whether cables are entering the rack from below it (from the raised floor) or from above it (from cable ducts). It guides 3×9 cables and incorporates fixing points to secure incoming cables.

Each Breakout Plate has three distinct areas that are utilised during loose tube cable termination.

1. The incoming cable can be secured to the T-shape brackets.
2. Fibre loose tubes are inserted into protection tubes (conduit) that are held in place by the guides.
3. The Central Strength Member (CSM) is fixed to the securing slots.
