ColdLogik™ Water Cooled Server Rack

ColdLogik™ is a water cooled server rack designed to provide high density cooling without affecting the climate within the data centre. The ColdLogik™ range of High Density Cooling Solutions includes the ColdLogik™ CL20 Water Cooled Server Rack, which is designed to work in harmony with the incumbent air conditioning system rather than creating a separate environment within the data centre. The CL20 water cooled server rack is designed to deal with one hundred percent of the heat load produced within the cabinet; the process is simple and hugely effective. Ambient air is drawn through an impressive 80% vented AirTech™ door. Six hot swap fans, mounted in the rear door, draw the hot air over a chilled, water filled coil. The waste heat generated by the equipment inside the server rack is removed by the water cooling, without the risk of leakage in the data centre by the patent pending leak prevention system. The net result is the air passing back into the room at ambient temperature. ColdLogik™ allows cooling water temperatures to rise from the traditional 6°C, reducing chiller size and energy costs, and increasing the availability of energy efficient ‘free cooling’. In fact ColdLogik™ is the only system that can accept water temperatures at 14°C and up to 22°C and achieve heat dissipation of up to 45kW per cabinet. The ColdLogik™ range also includes environmental and power management, plus fire protection.
