The Triad Floor Grille is a specially designed airflow floor grille that improves the way air is distributed in front of 19 inch server racks. The Triad floor grille features a unique high stratification fin which creates a 360° dipersion pattern that enables the air to be directed into the cabinets and stratify to the top of the cabinet. The Triad floor grille is highly effective, having recently purchased 20 Triad floor grilles for their Data Centre, the Facilities & Management Tools Services Manager of a major UK Supermarket chain was asked what he thought of the Triad grilles.
“The Triad grilles were bought to combat hot spots in an inefficient Data Centre. Since their installation we have seen a decrease in air temperature the full length of the cabinet. This in turn has seen a reduction in the exhaust temperature at the back of the cabinet, which is why they were bought. I had an initial concern that the tile would take air and reduce the air pressure from other areas of the floor, but this has not been evident, and there has been no reduction to the air being delivered to other areas of the Data Centre. They are providing the cool air to the top of the cabinets without the need for fans in the tile, as other designs have.”
