42U or 47U Colocation Server Cabinet
600mm wide 3 compartment colocation server cabinets
EDP Europe’s 42U or 47U high colocation server cabinet is a high-quality, fully specified colocation cabinet consisting of three independent compartments. Compartment sizes vary depending on the height of the rack, but generally consists of two smaller compartments and one large compartment (we exception to the 42U high colocation cabinet that can be supplied with three equal sized compartments).
Each compartment has two pairs of fully adjustable 19” mounting profiles together with front and rear mesh doors that have an 80% open area. Doors are fully removable and can be hinged to open left or right. Each compartment door is fitted with a keyed or combination locking swing-handle. For extra security or as an extra revenue stream in a colocation data centre environment these handles can be replaced with intelligent handles that can be integrated to a rack access control system. This not only enables advanced security with the ability to remotely unlock the compartment door but offers greater trace-ability via audit trails as to who has accessed the cabinet; important to ensure compliance with national and company-level regulations.
Each compartment has its own side panels that can be removed for easier access to equipment and cabling during installation. These side panels can only be removed by releasing the internal latches that hold them in place. All doors and panels are fully earthed with each compartment fitted with a 10-way 80Amp earth bar. The centre partition shelves between compartments are vented with a 70mm x 26mm cable access hole per colocation. Optional cable trunking can be mounted either side.
EDP Europe’s colocation server cabinets are finished in Black powder coat as standard, with other colours available upon request. Like other 19” cabinets in EDP Europe’s Network & Server Cabinet range there is the possibility to tailor our colocation cabinets to suit your requirement. Contact us about our bespoke design service.
