AisleLok Modular Containment
Quick and easy to install out-of-the-box aisle containment
AisleLok Modular Containment is a quick and easy to install aisle containment solution for cold aisle or hot aisle containment straight out-of-the-box. AisleLok Modular Containment comprises of three main components: rack top baffles, bi-directional aisle doors or sliding doors and an adjustable rack gap panel.
AisleLok Bi-Directional End-of-Aisle Doors
As part of the AisleLok Modular Containment system, the AisleLok bi-directional aisle doors are designed to prevent hot exhaust air from wrapping around the sides of racks and mixing with cold intake air. Made from clear polycarbonate, the bi-directional doors attach to the side of the racks at the end of a hot or cold aisle. The bi-directional doors swing inward or outward when pushed, and then rest at the centre, allowing them to be opened with computer carts are pushed through.
The design of the AisleLok Bi-Directional Doors leaves a small gap between the doors. The size of this gap may vary depending on the cabinet manufacturer and the width of the aisle, this gap has little or no impact on the effectiveness of the doors to reduce IT equipment intake air temperatures.
Each bi-directional aisle door features a kick-stand to allow it to remain in the open position.
