EDP Europe offers heavy duty brushed floor tiles for use in Data Centre raised floors. These heavy-duty brushed floor tiles are supplied with either a single or dual cable opening. A floor tile with three openings is also available. The openings are pre-installed with brush strip to minimise cold air loss from the raised floor and are supplied with safety plate covers to cover the openings when cables are not installed.
Heavy Duty Brushed Floor Tiles with Single or Dual Cable Openings
There are many ways to seal existing cable openings is raised floors KoldLok grommets and RackSEAL Floor are two methods. But when new openings are required it is necessary to cut the openings into the floor tiles first. EDP Europe’s Heavy Duty Brushed Floor Tiles provide an alternative solution, by simply replacing the existing floor tile.
The Heavy Duty Brushed Floor Tiles, from EDP Europe, are available with the choice of a single or dual cable opening. A tile with three openings is also available. Each opening is pre-installed with a double layer brush strip to minimise the cold air loss from under the raised floor. The floor tiles are supplied with metal safety plate covers that cover the openings when cables are not installed to meet Health & Safety trip hazard requirements.
Both versions are 600mm x 600mm and are 40.4mm thick as standard, but can be custom built to suit any raised floor height. The cable openings are 470mm x 129mm, making them suitable for large cable bundles and various power plug types.
