HUBER+SUHNER supply OS2, OM3 & OM4 MTP-MTP Backbone Trunk Cables for Base-8, 12 or 24 applications.
HUBER+SUHNER’s Optipack fibre cable system includes MTP-MTP Backbone Trunk Cables for fibre network installations in data centres or IT environments. Optipack MTP-MTP trunk cables are high-density multi-stranded fibre optic cables that form the backbone of the data centre or IT room’s fibre infrastructure.
Available in different fibre counts up to 144 fibres these pre-terminated fibre cables are suitable for Base-8, Base-12 or Base-24 applications, greatly reducing installation time by consolidating multiple sub-units into a single cable. This approach significantly reduces the overall diameter of the cable which helps improve space management within routing channels.
HUBER+SUHNER Optipack backbone trunk cables are constructed from miniature 2mm fibre strands which are then over-sleeved with a secondary jacket. This design and construction produce an MTP-MTP trunk cable that has better strength and robustness to form the backbone of the fibre network, but offers the flexibility and space saving inside the equipment cabinets. When combined with the HUBER+SUHNER IANOS fibre management system they help facilitate fast, flexible and future-proofed connectivity in the data centre and enterprise IT market.
Optipack MTP-MTP backbone trunk cables are available with 8, 12 and 24 fibre sub-units so that they can be deployed in Base-8, 12 or 24 infrastructures to suit their MTP connectivity requirements.
