The HotLok® product range from Upsite Technologies, a division of Aquila, is designed to improve airflow management at rack level, and now includes a solution for cooling network switches – SwitchFix.
HotLok SwitchFix is a passive cooling solution that solves the problem of cooling network switches that are traditionally mounted in the top and rear of a rack. This placement can lead to cooling issues for the switch. HotLok SwitchFix extends the front of the rack from the cold aisle to the rear of the network switch enabling the switch to passively draw cold air and channel it to the switch. This improves switch reliability and improves longevity of the switch.
