Hubbell CAT6A Shielded Solutions are a collection of structured cabling components that are designed and centre balanced to produce a tuned system that work together to support 10GBASE-T transmission over 100 metres.
The system provides headroom beyond 500MHz, and provides protection against ANEXT and EMI.
Hubbell’s CPR compliant CAT6A FTP cable has been finely tuned to work with the Hubbell SJ6 jacks and PS6 patch cords to deliver maximum performance, and is constructed with polyester backed aluminium foil shield to protect the twisted pairs from ANEXT and EMI. PS6 patch cords are specially designed and have a cross pair separator to deliver one the industry’s highest performing patch cords. The NEXTSPEED® Ascent Shielded Jack is a CAT6 jack that offers a tool-less termination body that allows the cables to be laced without disrupting the pairs, so maintaining the twist integrity and ensuring consistent electrical performance. The jack’s locking body ensures that the termination of the cable is retained. Shielded unloaded jack patch panels are constructed using 16 gauge steel for greater rigidity, with each panel providing integrated grounding and a cable management bar to support cable management. These are available in 24 or 48 port versions. Like other cabling solutions within the Hubbell range the CAT6A shielded solutions are factory tested and continuous third party verified to TIA 568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA component requirements.
